Major problems identified:
Use of local varieties, low seed rate and low plant population and no seed treatment in groundnut and greengram.
Poor nutrient management in maize, soybean, groundnut and cotton.
Pests & diseases in soybean & groundnut, foot rot in wheat, hoppers and powdery mildew in mango, Discoloration and uneven size and viral disease in watermelon. Chilli murda complex, storage pests
