KVK in brief
Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in collaboration with University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore, Started Krishi Vigyan Kendra in 1976. It was the first time in Karnataka and Second in South India. Since 1986, it came under the Jurisdiction of University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad and is involved in the transfer of agricultural technologies to the farming community with following mandates and objectives. The Dharwad KVK has been established at 2004 April at Saidapur Farm, Dharwad. |
